The Brother 3034DWT overlocker sews seams, trims excess fabric and overlocks raw edges and hems and is great for a wide range of fabrics, all in one easy step. The 3034DWT features 3 or 4 thread sew-and-cut over lock stitches, an easy to-follow colour coded thread guide and a F.A.S.T. lower looper threading system. It also features a free-arm/flat bed convertible sewing surface for easy control when overlocking cuffs and sleeves, saving time and producing professional results.

Sewing perfection

Having previously had a very basic three thread overlocker I wasimpressed with the quality of the stitching of the Brother overlooker and how professional this looked. Having heard how notorious overlockers are to re-thread and having to re-thread this immediately I was nervous about undertaking the task but found both the instructions and guide on the overlocker easy to comprehend.

Although I've yet to explore every permutation available with this machine I can attest to the ease with which it can be threaded and the efficacy of it's use. I've rolled a fine hem on shear fabric and overlocked the raw edges of denim with excellent results. The 3 thread overlock is quite sufficient for most applications and a beginner would soon master the basics after watching the DVD or reading through the handbook carefully.
